About William
William is a second semester Junior at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. He is studying Aeronautical Science with the Flight Option. William possesses a Private Pilot Glider Certification, Commercial Pilot Airplane Single Engine Land Certification (CP-ASEL), Commercial Pilot Multi Engine Land Certification (CP-AMEL), instrument ratings, and both complex and high performance endorsements. He currently has 242.7 total hours of flight time. William has flown a variety of aircraft ranging from single-engine tricycle and conventional gear, to high performance, complex, and multi-engine aircraft. William is certified for the Avidyne Entegra Electronic Flight Information System, and he is Certified for the Garmin G1000 Avionics Suite.
His career goals are to become a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII), Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI), and commercial airline pilot. William is currently enrolled with FIT Aviation LLC., which is a part 141 flight school in partnership with the Florida Institute of Technology, to train College of Aeronautics students to become professional, safe, competent pilots in the aviation industry.
